Pannal Golf Club staged the prestigious North of England Under-16 Open Amateur Strokeplay Championships which was held between the 23rd and 26th of August.
Pannal Golf Club, situated in Harrogate, one of the premier clubs in the North England has a rich history and was founded in 1906. Sandy Herd 1902 Championship winner was retained to lay out the golf course and in 1933 alterations to the golf course gave Pannal a true championship layout which has stood the test of time.
The 132 strong field consisted of 100 boys and 32 girls from around the UK.
Girl International Lily May Humphreys finished six shots ahead of the mixed field to claim her third title of the year.
